Senior Brand Strategist / Copenhagen
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Strategist who can turn research, culture and business understanding into clear brand platforms, strong positioning and creative direction.
NORD is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist for our Copenhagen office. You'll sit inside a strategy team working across brand, marketing, creative and cultural strategy and side by side with the people who turn that work into something real: concept creatives, copywriters, art directors, designers, experience and service designers and other creative disciplines across the agency.
You will lead the foundational work: brand platforms and positionings that hold up over time, and figure out what's actually going on for a client's brand and business. Then help make the directional choices that shape everything that follows, from communication and campaigns to product and experience.
What you’ll do
Lead brand strategy projects marketing strategy work end to end
Do real research: Sit and talk with real people, ethnography, interviews, market analysis, both qualitative and quantitative. The output is human, interesting and points somewhere. Not a deck with lengthy information but punchy direction
Reframe problems and briefs to bring a point of view that makes people think
Write clearly across every format. Your writing is part of who you are and the value you bring
Design and run workshops. You can walk into a room full of stakeholders and get them engaged
Present with clarity and confidence and build the momentum it takes to get the work made
Work shoulder to shoulder with different creative disciplines (concept creatives, designers, etc.)
What we’re looking for
Minimum 5 years of strategy experience (agency, consultancy, brand-side or similar)
A strong foundation in both brand strategy and marketing strategy projects
A genuine passion for seeing things from a different angle to deliver points of view that make people think
You don't need to be a specialist, but you should be confident with qualitative and quantitative sources, willing to get out and sit with real people in the real world, and good at asking the right questions
You understand how our clients' businesses work and grow and you navigate stakeholder conversations with ease
Strong curiosity for culture, people and what's shifting in everyday life
A collaborative way of working and a real interest in building with others
Fluent English is required. Understanding Danish, or the motivation to learn it, is a plus
Working in Copenhagen
This role is based in our Copenhagen office, and we expect you to be here most of the time. If you’re relocating, we can accommodate a short remote transition period, but the long-term setup is in person.

We work with ambitious clients across Denmark, the Nordics, and internationally, including McDonald’s, HBO, The Danish Defence, Nordea, HTH, Gjensidige, NRGi, and many others.
