ELEVATE BRAND EXPERIENCE WITH NORD
Welcome to the future of brand experience design! We're seeking a Mid UX Designer who shares our passion for crafting every customer interaction, from the grandest gestures to the simplest clicks. You will be a part of the Nord ID department, which consists of 45 people specializing in design, brand identities, and digital experiences. Your role will be pivotal in shaping not just designs but complete brand experiences.
YOUR ROLE
As a Mid UX Designer, you'll be an integral part of our diverse design team, leading the charge in shaping digital experiences and crafting interfaces that not only deeply meet user needs but also powerfully echo the brand's voice in every interaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Understanding and capturing brand essence and customer needs, formulating requirements, and transforming them into compelling digital experiences.
Visualizing concepts and solution proposals.
Structuring and leading UX design processes.
Collaborating extensively across various team roles, including brand strategists and digital designers, and guiding junior designers. You'll work closely with a UX Director when necessary, ensuring every design element profoundly resonates with the brand’s core values and strategic objectives.
Leading engagement in diverse areas, including advanced insight work, deep data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative), complex concept development, sophisticated interaction design, comprehensive accessibility (WCAG 2.2 standards), and robust user testing methodologies.
Exercising holistic oversight of projects, understanding and articulating how each component fits into the broader brand narrative and business strategy.
Planning and facilitation of high-impact workshops using advanced methodologies to enhance brand experience design and achieve measurable outcomes.
Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to strategically navigate and collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams, senior clients, and external stakeholders.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Thorough understanding of UX/Interaction Design, with a strong ability to identify complex target groups, user needs, and strategic business goals.
Proficiency in creating intricate website structures, functional clickable wireframes, and intuitive navigation designs aligned with user journeys.
Significant experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing user tests, with a solid grasp of developing accessible designs adhering to WCAG 2.2 standards.
Strong familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO principles, and leveraging quantitative data sets to drive design decisions.
Proven ability to independently lead and facilitate workshops with diverse stakeholders, ensuring progress even during high-pressure periods.
WHO YOU ARE
You bring 5+ years of extensive experience in the UX field, with a portfolio showcasing your leadership and impactful contributions.
A self-starter who is comfortable taking the lead on tasks and driving them to completion independently, ensuring progress even during high-pressure periods to support the team when needed.
A highly service-oriented professional with an exceptionally meticulous eye for detail, backed by a strong academic background or diploma in a relevant field.
A proactive, strategic problem-solver comfortable in managing multiple complex tasks and competing priorities.
Skilled in handling confidential information with integrity.
Highly proficient in Figma, Figjam, Keynote, and Miro, and demonstrate advanced familiarity with a range of user research and analytics tools like OptimalWorkshop, Hotjar, Google Analytics, and other industry-standard platforms.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
